Biography[]
Good Burger[]
Dexter Reed is a slacker employee at Good Burger restaurant. His plan for the summer was to relax in his pool and eat Chinese food, then repeat it until the end of summer. The reason he works there is because Ed made him swerve off the road & into his teacher Mr. Wheat's $22,000 car, and so he has to come up with money to fix it.
After getting fired from Mondo Burger, Dexter goes to Good Burger. He drinks one milkshake after another, but Ed helps him and gets him a job at Good Burger. Dexter tasted Ed's sauce and thought it was fantastic so he decided to use it to sell more Good Burgers. As a result, Dexter took advantage of Ed and took half of his money that he deserves.
Dexter learns that Ed is trying to be his best friend after getting him a yo-yo that he used to have, that his father gave him. Dexter then tears up the contract and decides to be friends with Ed.
Good Burger 2[]
Dexter, twenty-six years after the events of the first film, initially aspires to be a successful entrepreneur but faces setbacks with failed invention ideas. His latest creation, a flame-retardant spray, results in disaster during a demonstration, causing Dexter to lose both his home and business. Seeking refuge, he attempts to move in with his sister Charlotte, but she rejects him as she was one of his investors. Desperate, Dexter reaches out to his friend Ed, who still works at Good Burger, and Ed happily agrees to let him stay.
Upon visiting Good Burger, Dexter encounters a slew of new employees and discovers that Ed is now the owner of the restaurant. The only familiar face is Fizz, thawed after being accidentally left in the freezer for 22 years. At Ed's home, Dexter meets Ed's quirky family, including his wife Edie, children resembling Ed named after condiments, and Roxanne, who once sought Ed's sauce recipe and now works as their nanny.
Facing uncertainty about his next venture, Dexter returns to work at Good Burger. Despite his ambitions, his idea of "permanent ice" is dismissed by his niece Mia. Simultaneously, Ed faces pressure from MegaCorp's legal representative, Cecil McNevin, to turn Good Burger into a global franchise. MegaCorp attempts to force Ed into an agreement, but his clumsiness results in their own injury. Dexter is later approached by Cecil, who promises to expand Good Burger without harming Ed, leading Dexter to consider the proposal. The duo ultimately signs the agreement.
During the franchise launch, it is revealed that the flagship store is being shut down, leading Dexter to confront MegaCorp to reinstate the restaurant and rehire the employees. They meet Katt Bozwell, MegaCorp's CEO seeking revenge on Good Burger. Katt plans to rebrand it as Mega Good Burger, exclusively staffed by robot versions of Ed. After a chaotic encounter, Dexter and Ed rally the employees to thwart Mega Good Burger's launch.
The team infiltrates MegaCorp headquarters, aiming to shut down the machines with Mia's expertise. The plan faces challenges, with Dexter and Ed finding the control room and Mia getting trapped. Despite initial failures, it is later revealed that Ed had reprogrammed the machines to go haywire during Katt's national television demonstration.
In the aftermath, MegaCorp is shut down, and Ed regains ownership of Good Burger. Dexter reconciles with his sister Charlotte, and Ed 2 reveals a successful invention of permanent ice, which Good Burger sells for $10 million to Mark Cuban, providing a triumphant conclusion for Dexter and the others.
