Ed is a character in the TV series All That, and the 2 films Good Burger and Good Burger 2. He is portrayed by Kel Mitchell. He is the owner at Good Burger and still works there behind the register.

Biography[]

Good Burger[]

Ed is one of the two main characters in the movie Good Burger. He is the dimwitted, goofball, very funny cashier of Good Burger, who always messes things up. He is the reason that Dexter had to pay $2,500 to his teacher and $800 for his Mom's car. He did not say his first word until he was 6 years old. Ed is a very good friend to Dexter since he got Dexter a yo-yo that Dexter's father gave him as a kid.

Ed is a bad driver. Ed's favorite song is "We're All Dudes. Ed lives for Good Burger; he even showers in his uniform and sleeps in it. Ed has a habit of putting things up his nose like fries and grapes. Ed even makes his own sauce, which saved Good Burger from going out of business.

Good Burger 2[]

Ed is still working at Good Burger 26 years later. He even owns the restaurant after it was left to him in a will after the previous owner died. Dexter, his old friend, approaches him after facing failures as an entrepreneur and is warmly welcomed to stay at Ed's home.

Ed introduces Dex to his wife Edie and their children who bear a striking resemblance to Ed and are named after condiments. Roxanne, who once sought Ed's sauce recipe, is now their nanny.

MegaCorp's legal representative, Cecil McNevin, attempts to pressure him into turning Good Burger into a global franchise. Ed's unintentional actions result in the injury of MegaCorp's enforcers. As MegaCorp persists in its efforts, Cecil turns to Dexter, convincing him that the expansion won't harm Ed and promising significant raises for the employees. Dexter, considering the financial benefits, brings Ed into a meeting with Cecil, and they both agree to sign the agreement.

At the franchise launch, it is revealed that the flagship store is to be shut down, leading Dexter and Ed to confront MegaCorp. They meet Katt Bozwell, MegaCorp's CEO seeking revenge on Good Burger, intending to rebrand it as Mega Good Burger with robot versions of Ed as employees. Ed's natural clumsiness causes chaos, including the destruction of the Good Burger car.

Ed's loyalty to Good Burger is evident as he joins Dexter in demanding the reinstatement of the flagship restaurant. In the face of adversity at MegaCorp headquarters, Ed plays a crucial role in the plan to stop the launch of Mega Good Burger. While infiltrating the building, he finds himself in the control room with Dexter, separated from Mia, who gets trapped in a conveyor belt.

As Katt gives a demonstration on national television, it appears Ed has failed to shut down the machines. However, it is revealed that Ed had secretly reprogrammed them to go haywire, disrupting Mega Good Burger's launch and leading to the downfall of MegaCorp.

In the aftermath, Ed regains ownership of Good Burger, and his ingenuity is showcased when Ed2 reveals they figured out how to make permanent ice. Good Burger successfully sells the invention to Mark Cuban, bringing in $10 million and securing a triumphant ending for Ed and his friends. Throughout the story, Ed's unwavering loyalty to Good Burger, his unintentional yet impactful actions, and his quirky personality contribute to the film's humor and heartwarming moments.

Ed is a very fun, easy going, goofy guy. He messes up a lot at work but always has a positive attitude and finds his way out of sticky situations.
