Mondo Burger was a massive fast food restaurant established by Kurt Bozwell which once had aspirations for global domination of the fast food industry.

Mondo Burger was an evil and ruthless fast food enterprise conceived by Kurt Bozwell in the hopes of turning it into the most popular and only fast food chain on the planet within the next 2 years of its opening, with Kurt first setting his sights on destroying his fledgling empire's first rival, the humble little Good Burger restaurant right across the street from them which Kurt sought to crush as his stepping stone towards fast food world domination.
To make sure that his burgers were the best in the industry, Kurt used Triampathol, an illegal additive chemical, in order to mutate and artificially enlarge the size of his meat patties, with his first batch being twice the size of Good Burger's and later growing to triple the size. It was the abuse of this substance that made Mondo Burgers inedible for animals and which prompted Dexter Reed and Ed to investigate Mondo Burger's kitchen where they discovered the illegal chemical and began their efforts to expose Mondo Burger and put them out of business.
In the end, the staff of Good Burger were successful in exposing Bozwell's illegal scheme thanks to Ed's careful planning and he was arrested with little chance of being able to use his influence to manipulate the legal system due to the disaster his mutated burgers caused.
However, Bozwell and Mondo Burger's legacy and ambitions would live on through MegaCorp.
